Dr. Mohamed A. Tumi is the Managing Director of Tumi Law Firm, Libya’s largest law firm.
A graduate from the schools of law at the universities of Cairo, Egypt and Damascus, Syria, Dr. Tumi gained further qualification by reading law at the University of Miami in Florida, USA from where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Comparative Law. He then went on to the Law Centre at the University of George Washington, in Washington D.C., from where he graduated with an LL.M degree (with Highest Honours) in Law. Dr. Tumi also holds a Ph.D in Law conferred on him by the University of Illinois and Chicago (U.I.C.) in Delaware, USA.
Apart from his significant, academic achievements, Dr. Tumi has 27 years of valuable, working experience to add to his distinguished career. He has occupied the post of Senior Legal Consultant to AGIP Oil Company for five years and is presently also a Lecturer of Law. Dr. Tumi is admitted before the Libyan Supreme Court.
Dr. Tumi has a very wide experience in many areas of law practice, specialising in Oil & Gas and General Business Law. Throughout his career, and up to this present day, Dr. Tumi has participated in several meetings and fora and he is frequently invited to address numerous conferences and seminars.
Dr. Tumi has been a member of the American Society of International Law since January 1983. He is also a member of the Arab Society of Intellectual Property, the Association of Arabic Lexicology (Lex Arab), the Association of European Attorneys and the Alliance of Business Lawyers and has been admitted to the Centre de Conciliation, d’Arbitrage et d’Expertise as a mediator and arbitrator.
Mr. Mazen Tumi is a graduate from school of Law at Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya and has been admitted with full rights of audience before the Court of First Instance.
Mr. Tumi also holds an LL.M (Master of Laws) degree, graduating with Distinction from the University of East London (UOEL), U.K., specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law and International Trade.
Moreover, he has a B.A. in Business Administration and is a specialist in Corporate and Commercial Law. He has excelled as a litigator in these fields before the courts.
Mr. Mazen Tumi is a member of the Libyan Bar Association.
He is a Partner in Tumi Law Firm and he gives counsel to leading international companies on Agency, Distribution, Construction, Telecommunication and Oil & Gas companies.
Mr. Mazen Tumi specialises in Oil & Gas, Corporate Law, Construction and Finance and he has been involved in a large number of projects in Libya including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Privatization, Setting up and Financial Facilities. He also renders legal advice on many aspects of the Libyan law.
Mr. Mazen Tumi is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Mr. Adel M. Sharif read law at the Nasser University, Tarhouna Campus, Libya, from where he graduated in 1999. He was first admitted to the Courts of First Instance in 2001, acquiring rights of audience at the Criminal Court.
He is a specialist in Employment law, Civil law and the drafting of contracts. Mr. Sharif is also a litigator with five years of working experience and has an excellent grasp of the civil and criminal procedures in Libya. Furthermore, he has successfully negotiated settlement in dispute cases concerning major national and international companies.
Mr. Milad graduated from the Faculty of Law –Tripoli – Libya, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
Mr. Milad has ten years of practical legal experience and he specializes in Civil, Labor, Insurance and Civil Service law.
Before joining Tumi Law Firm, he was a Legal Consultant at one of the largest high institutions in Tripoli.
Mr. Milad is a litigator with full rights of audience before the Court of First Instance as well as the Court of Appeal. Further, He has excelled as a litigator in various kinds of cases including Commercial, Civil, Employment and Criminal matters before the courts.
Mr. Milad gives counsel to leading companies on employment, civil and insurance issues in connection with their business negotiations in Libya.
Moreover, Mr. Milad has successfully negotiated settlement in dispute cases concerning major national and international companies.
Mr. Osama Abo El Khier graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Al Azhar University in Egypt. He is a member of the Arab Arbitrators with a licence issued by the International Arbitration Centre in Cairo, Egypt.
A senior public prosecutor and member of the Eqyptian Public Prosecution, Mr. Osama Abo El Khier was president of the preliminary court until 2008. He has been a member of the Eqyptian Bar Association since 1998 and currently appears regularly before the high courts of appeal and the administrative courts.
Mr. Osama Abo El Khier has 11 years of experience in the legal field and he is a specialist in Civil, Commercial, Maritime, Intellectual Property and Criminal Law.
Mr. El-sayed graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the English Section of the faculty of law at Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2004. He then joined Mokhtar Nouh Law Office as a law trainee and later worked as a junior lawyer at MTK Law Firm, an affiliate of Khine & Napolitano LLP. Mr. El-sayed gained further experience by working at Yehia El Sayed Law Office.
Mr. El-sayed is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
He has assisted numerous international and domestic companies in their incorporation, as well as in the registration of their representative offices, branches, agencies and trademarks. Furthermore, he has handled several lawsuits in Egypt.

Mr. Elmasry graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the English Department of the faculty of law at Alexandria University in Egypt. He joined Elmasry Law office as a trainee, and then, after gaining experience in the field of Corporate and Commercial Law, he joined LLG as a legal consultant for the Companies and Trademarks Department.
Mr. Elmasry is a member of the Egyptian Association Bar, as well as of the Arab Lawyers Union.
In 2006, Mr. Elmasry was awarded a certificate in Legal Terminology and Translation from the Alexandria University, obtaining a Very Good grade after completing a training course for attorneys. In 2007, he successfully completed another training programme, this time in Civil and Commercial Arbitration certified by the Alexandria University and by the Lawyer Association Bar in Egypt.
Mr. Elmasry is a specialist in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Labour Law, Agency Law, Investment Law, Trademarks and Patents, ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution). He is qualified in drafting and reviewing contracts and giving legal consultation regarding various aspects of law.
Mr. Mehrez graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the English Section of the Faculty of Law at the Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, in 2007.
Meanwhile, in 2006, he joined Zaki Hashem & Partners Law Firm in Cairo as a trainee and, after his graduation, Mr. Mehrez worked for Saba & Co. Intellectual Property where he gained valuable experience in IP Law, especially in Trademark matters.

Mr. Atef graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the English Section of the Faculty of Law at the Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, in 2007.
After his graduation, Mr. Atef worked at the legal department of Mansour Chevrolet Co where he gained valuable experience in business and corporation laws.
Mr. Atef is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association and he worked there as a teacher of legal terminology.
In 2008, he joined El-Negmi law firm in Cairo as an associate where he was engaged in many fields including corporate and commercial matters, civil & criminal law cases and business law.

Mr. Hatem Ali graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the English Section of the Faculty of Law at the Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 2007.
He was awarded a Legal Translation Certificate from the American University in Cairo in 2007, obtaining a Good grade after completing the Legal Translation Course.
Also in the same year, Mr Ali joined Emad Soliman Law Firm as an attorney in the Foreign Contracts Department where he gained extensive experience in Civil, Commercial and Information Technology Agreements.
Mr. Ali is also experienced in other areas of legal practice. In 2008, he joined Damac Properties Egypt (S.A.E.), drafting and handling Construction contracts and later, in 2009, he became a member of Rashideen Egypt for Trade (LLC), specialising in Commercial transactions.
