Dr. Mohamed A. Tumi is the Managing Director of Tumi Law Firm, Libya’s largest law firm.
A graduate from the schools of law at the universities of Cairo, Egypt and Damascus, Syria, Dr. Tumi gained further qualification by reading law at the University of Miami in Florida, USA from where he obtained a Masters Degree in Comparative Law. He then went on to the Law Centre at the University of George Washington, in Washington D.C., from where he graduated with an LL.M degree (with Highest Honours) in Law. Dr. Tumi also holds a Ph.D in Law conferred on him by the University of Illinois and Chicago (U.I.C.) in Delaware, USA.
Apart from his significant, academic achievements, Dr. Tumi has 27 years of valuable, working experience to add to his distinguished career. He has occupied the post of Senior Legal Consultant to AGIP Oil Company for the past five years and is presently also a Lecturer of Law.
Dr. Tumi has been a member of the American Society of International Law since January 1983. He is also a member of the Arab Society of Intellectual Property and has been admitted to the Centre deConciliation, d’Arbitrage et d’Expertise as a mediator and arbitrator.

Mr. Hassan S. Faqawee graduated from the University of Cairo, Eqypt, in 1986 with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
He gained further qualification at the Al Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya, from where he obtained a postgraduate degree in Private Law. He is currently a candidate for a Master of Laws degree, writing his thesis on Intellectual Property.
Mr. Faqawee was called to the Egyptian Bar in 1987 acquiring rights of audience at the Court of Appeal and at the National Council. He is also a specialist in Civil, Commercial, Shipping and Maritime, Civil Procedure and Intellectual Property Law.
Among the several disputes concluded successfully by Mr. Faqawee are litigation cases involving major national and international energy companies with significant sums of money negotiated in settlement. Moreover, Mr Faqawee’s expert advice has been highly instrumental throughout the construction of international and national multi-million dollar projects.
Mr. Faqawee is also a member of the Arab Society of Intellectual Property and of the Egyptian Bar Association.
Mr.Youssef N. Ben Nagi graduated from the Nasser University, Tarhouna Campus, Libya in 2001 and was called to the Bar in 2003. He specialises in Employment, Litigation and Social Security Law.
Mr. Ben Nagi has successfully concluded several cases, among which the most significant relate to enforcement of judgements concerning leading national and international companies. Mr. Ben Nagi has full rights of audience before the Courts of First Instance.
Mr. Adel M. Sharif
LL.B, Attorney-at-Law
Mr. Adel M. Sharif read law at the Nasser University, Tarhouna Campus, Libya, from where he graduated in 1999. He was first admitted to the Courts of First Instance in 2001, acquiring rights of audience at the Criminal Court.
He is a specialist in Employment law, Civil law and the drafting of contracts. Mr. Sharif is also a litigator with five years of working experience and has an excellent grasp of the civil and criminal procedures in Libya. Furthermore, he has successfully negotiated settlement in dispute cases concerning major national and international companies.
Mr. Mazen M. Tumi

Mr. Mazen Tumi is a graduate of the school of Law at Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya and has been admitted with full rights of audience before the Court of First Instance.
Mr. Mazen Tumi is a member of the Libyan Bar Association.
Mr. Mazen Tumi has a B.A in Business Administration and is a specialist in Corporate and Commercial Law. He has excelled as a litigator in these fields before the courts.
Mr. Mazen Tumi holds an LL.M (Master of Laws) degree, graduating with Distinction from the University of East London (UOEL), U.K., specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law and International Trade.
Mr. Mazen Tumi is now a full time regular member of Tumi Law Firm and he gives counsel to leading international companies on Agency, Distribution, Construction, Telecommunication and Oil & Gas companies.
Mr. Mazen Tumi is fluent in both Arabic and English.
Mr. Omar K. Kawan graduated from Al-Fateh University, Tripoli, Libya, in 1995 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Since then, he spent a substantial period of time working as a legal consultant at the Judicial Military Institute before joining Tumi Law Firm.
Mr. Kawan specialises in Military law, Civil law, Employment law as well as Commercial law. He is a litigator with full rights of audience before the Courts of First Instance, and next year, he will be promoted with rights of audience before the Court of Appeal.
Mr. Mohamed Nabil Al-Saadani

Mr. Al-Saadani is a graduate of Cairo University, Egypt. He was first admitted to the Court of First Instance, then to the Court of Appeal and later to the State Council in 1984.
Mr. Al-Saadani has practiced law for more than 31 years, specializing in all the various fields of law including, but not limited to, Insurance, Criminal, Civil and Commercial activities, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, as well as investment and finance projects.
Mr. Al-Saadani was the sole legal consultant for the following companies:
- Power SAS Group of Companies.
- Egyptian Energy for A/C.
- JACK for Manufacturing of Air Crafts’ Spare parts.
- JACK PICK UP for Manufacturing of Cars.
- AMIGO for Real Estate Investments.

Mr. Mohieeldin M. Elbanna

Mr. Banna is the newest member of Tumi Law Firm. He graduated from the Faculty of Law – English Section, Cairo University in May 2002 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. Thus, he has more than three years of practical legal experience at both domestic and international level.
In his professional capacity, Mr. Banna has given advice on varied commercial agreements including, but not limited to, business sales, joint ventures and agency and distribution agreements. Currently, he is counseling local and international clients on matters related to corporate law, including various commercial agreements, business structures, commercial agency and the formation of companies and joint ventures.
Mr. Banna also traveled to the U.A.E, seeking a wider range of international experience, where he joined one of the largest law firms in Dubai, Emirates Advocates & Legal Consultants. From December 2004 until April 2007, Mr. Banna was the lawyer in charge of providing legal consultation and of handling all cases and other legal procedures in connection with ETISLAT, the largest Telecommunication Corporation and the only internet service provider in the U.A.E.

Mr. Milad graduated from the Faculty of Law –Tripoli – Libya, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
Mr. Milad has ten years of practical legal experience and he specializes in Civil, Labor, Insurance and Civil Service law.
Before joining Tumi Law Firm, he was a Legal Consultant at one of the largest high institutions in Tripoli.
Mr. Milad is a litigator with full rights of audience before the Court of First Instance as well as the Court of Appeal. Further, He has excelled as a litigator in various kinds of cases including Commercial, Civil, Employment and Criminal matters before the courts.

Mr. Khaleid Khalifa Salama

Mr. Salama graduated from the faculty of law, El-fateh university with a bachelor of laws degree. He is a member of the Libyan Associate Bar and a litigator with full rights of audience before the Courts of First Instance.
Mr. Salama has gained extensive experience by handling many cases before the courts of law. He is a specialist in Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Commercial Agency Law, Foreign Investment Law as well as Intellectual Property Law.
Furthermore, Mr. Salama is exceptionally proficient in contract drafting including, but not limited to, construction, commercial agency, oil & gas and telecommunications.
He also gives counsel to leading national and international companies on Commercial Agency, Distribution, Construction, Telecommunication and Oil & Gas.
Moreover, Mr. Salama has Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation skills and he has successfully negotiated and reached amicable settlements in respect of disputes concerning major national and international companies.
Mr Mohamed A. Fouad read law at the English Section of the Faculty of Law at Alexandria University, Egypt, from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2003. Thus, he has more than three years of practical, legal experience at both domestic and international level.
In 2004, Mr Fouad completed a course in Arbitration also at Alexandria University and since then, he has been engaged in a number of international, commercial arbitration cases. Furthermore, he has participated in the diligence report of the Sahara Bank in Libya.
Mr Fouad is involved in drafting legal advice on various aspects of law and has collaborated in the drafting of various types of agreements. He is also involved in the setting up of different companies because of his proficiency in various legal structures such as Investment Law and Tourism Law. Moreover, he has participated in some maritime arrest orders.
Mr Fouad is a specialist in Foreign Investment, Corporate, Tax and Arbitration Law. He is a member of the International Private Law Society as well as the Union of Arab Lawyers.
